Join us for a life-changing spiritual journey this December, led by Imam Muhammad Abdullah and his wife, Dr. Aminah Knight, as we embark on a transformative trip to some of the holiest sites in Islam—starting in Mecca, then traveling to Madina, Jordan, and Jerusalem. This is more than just a trip; it’s an opportunity to strengthen your faith, walk in the footsteps of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and experience deep peace in places blessed by Allah.

Jerusalem- 3 Nights

Praying in Masjid Al-Aqsa is a privilege and an honor.  Prophet Muhammd ﷺ taught us that prayer here is multiplied in reward by 500.
We will also visit the place where Maryam (AS) was born. Her story is one of faith, devotion, and unwavering trust in Allah’s plan, serving as an inspiration for all believers.

Every step in this blessed land is a reminder of those who came before us—Prophets, companions, and scholars—whose devotion to Allah remains a guiding light.

May this visit to Jerusalem be a means of drawing closer to Allah, strengthening our faith, and preparing our hearts for the transformative experience of Umrah.

Medina- 3 Nights

Praying in Al-Masjid An-Nabawi is a profound blessing, as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
One prayer in my mosque is better than 1,000 prayers elsewhere, except for Al-Masjid Al-Haram.”

Within the blessesd walls of Masjid Nabawi lies the Rawdah. The Rawdah is one of the most sacred and blessed places on Earth. It is the area between the Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ tomb and his pulpit (minbar), and the Prophet ﷺ himself described it as a garden from the gardens of Jannah (Paradise). It is a place of deep tranquility where dua are readily accepted by Allah.

Mecca- 4 Nights

Praying in Masjid Al-Haram is a blessing that every believer yearns for. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, “One prayer in Al-Masjid Al-Haram is better than 100,000 prayers elsewhere.” Performing Umrah is a journey of renewal, and an opportunity to purify the mind, heart and soul. Each  sacred ritual is a reminder of submission to Allah, trust in His plan, and the power of sincere supplication.

Between prayers, there is time for reflection at places like the Cave of Hira, where the first revelation descended to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and Jabal al-Rahmah, where the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ delivered his Farewell Khutbah.

We ask Allah to accept our prayers, forgive our shortcomings, and allow this experience to leave an everlasting imprint on our faith.

January 2025: Umrah and Istanbul

Testimonials

Alhamdulillah, I was blessed to take part in the Umrah trip this past January, and I can honestly say it was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. The journey was beautifully transformative—spiritually, emotionally, and communally. One of the greatest joys for me was the camaraderie. Traveling with fellow believers—some of whom I had never had the time to really get to know—created an immediate sense of family. Whether we were roommates sharing reflections, navigating the streets of Makkah together, praying side-by-side in Masjid al-Nabawi, or breaking bread over dinner in Istanbul, the love and unity we experienced as a group was unforgettable. We laughed, we cried, we made du’a for each other—and by the end, it felt like we’d known each other for years. The logistics were another aspect that really stood out. From airport pickups to group movements between cities and religious sites, the communication was smooth, clear, and reassuring. I always knew what was happening next, and that gave me the freedom to focus on what mattered most—my relationship with Allah. The group leaders were patient, organized, and truly cared for our well-being every step of the way. The accommodations exceeded my expectations. We were comfortable, well-fed, and placed within walking distance of the Haramain, which made those pre-Fajr and late-night prayers incredibly accessible. It allowed us to immerse ourselves in the sacred space without the distraction of long commutes or logistical stress. But if I’m honest, my heart was in Madinah. There’s a tranquility in the Prophet’s city that words can’t quite capture. Every step I took there felt like a step closer to the essence of Islam—love, mercy, and brotherhood. Visiting the Prophet’s Masjid, offering salawat in peace, and just sitting in the Rawdah filled my heart with satisfaction. I left Madinah with a deep yearning to return. Our stop in Turkey added a special flavor to the trip. Walking through Istanbul, rich with Islamic history and culture, felt like a bridge between our spiritual past and present. It reminded me of the vastness of our ummah and the beauty of Islamic civilization. To anyone considering this journey: don’t hesitate. You’ll be spiritually nourished, logistically supported, and deeply moved. This is more than just a trip—it’s a revival of the heart. May Allah accept all of our efforts and intentions, and may He bless you with the opportunity to experience it for yourself. JazakAllah Khair to everyone who made this journey possible. May Allah reward you immensely.

Knowledgeable, Protected and Cared for 🙏🏾 🕋💙 is how l would describe my experience traveling with the AscendlnFaith travel agency for Umrah 2025. Imam Abdullah & Dr. Aminah are a superb team who provided comprehensive tools of preparation prior to traveling (i.e. the virtual Umrah class & follow up slides) and delivered white glove service & assistance during the pilgrimage which elevated the experience. The AscendlnFaith Travel group also offered optional sacred site visit opportunities throughout the cities of Madinah, Mecca and the country of Turkey which l absolutely loved. The hotel accommodations were wonderfully located, for example steps away from the The Rawdah in Madinah, the Haram in Mecca and walking distance from Historical Mosques and University centers in Turkey. I traveled from another state to meet the AscendlnFaith Travel group in Saudi. Although l was excited to embark on the blessed journey, l was still a bit nervous as l was a first timer. Alhamdulillah, by Allah's Grace the flight was smooth, my driver courteous and l ended up meeting the AscendlnFaith group in Saudi. I also tremendously appreciated the patience (sabr) and adabeb (manners) Imam Abdullah & Dr. Aminah displayed throughout the entire Umrah trip especially during moments of eagerness exhibited by others (we were amongst people from all over the globe/ world traveling to the holiest place on earth) especially when we encountered extreme crowds or long lines. The skills / tools Imam Abdullah & Dr Aminah utilized were calming and comforting especially for someone who is used to "New York" minute reactions. I am very much ready to go back again! May Allah guide, protect and bless Dr. Aminah & lmam Abdullah, the AscendlnFaith travel agency, all of its travelers and all of our families. Ameen 🙏🏾
